An architectural reflection in Wadi Musa, Ayn Al-Samt blends ancient ruin with modern minimalism. Crafted from basalt, glass, and chrome, it reimagines a fragmented temple where light, shadow, and absence reveal the passage of time. Though the name Salaman Paris whispers of the French capital, the Paris-based ready-to-wear brand transcends its moniker, merging Arab cultures and beyond. “What we’re doing is elegance inspired by the world,” Mohammed Badri, the Palestinian-Jordanian founder and creative director, tells Scene Styled. “We’re focused on taking different inspirations from different histories, and we’re trying to be inspired by our region as much as possible.”

The collection’s name, “Tamir de Salaman,” translates to “The Splendor of Salaman,” and it’s a nod to the brand’s heritage. Mohamad Badri, the Creative Director, shares that the collection grew naturally from a simple concept to a strong, cohesive range. He found inspiration in the classic Egyptian film “Asr El Quwwah,” known for its beautiful scenery and luxurious production. The film’s influence is clear in the collection’s polished look and enduring appeal.
