Weight & Wearability
To ensure aerodynamic freedom and absolute safety for the falcon in full flight, RM F-01 “TAYYAR” weighs under 35 grams — lighter than most telemetry tags used in elite falconry.
Avg. Arab Falcon mass: ~850g–1,200g
Safe mounted load range: <1% of body weight
RM F-01 Total Weight: 34.2 grams (including strap and casing)
Crafted from an experimental fusion of Quartz TPT®, carbon nanotube composites, and ultralight aerospace titanium, every element of TAYYAR was stripped to its essence.
Key Functions:
Post-Sun Position Indicator
A custom-developed micro-complication built around solar tracking.
As falcons rely on sunlight and landscape orientation for navigation, the Post-Sun Position Indicator mimics avian celestial alignment, displaying the relative arc position of the sun across desert skies—regardless of global timezone.
Inspired by ancient astrolabes, re-engineered for high-speed avian conditions
Calibrated to local latitude and sun azimuth
Designed for orientation, not timekeeping
Nocturnal Star Tracker
A minimalist night dial that tracks the falcon’s natural alignment with key constellations used in nocturnal navigation—specifically Orion, Canopus, and Ursa Minor.
Based on pre-Islamic desert navigation techniques
Dial shifts with sidereal time to reflect true star movement
Provides orientation via single celestial anchor, visible even during low visibility desert nights
Flight-Speed Feedback Module (Experimental)
An internal kinetic accelerometer measures high-speed dives and rapid shifts in altitude.
While not a formal chronograph, it allows data collection on dive acceleration, deceleration curves, and mid-air velocity patterns—intended for limited scientific testing under specialist supervision.
Strap Design
Custom Tarsal-Mount FeatherLock Strap™, ergonomically contoured to the falcon’s leg scale
Seamless micro-Velcro fastener system for secure yet weightless grip
Resistant to desert heat, wind pressure, and sweat salinity
Philosophy
TAYYAR is a tribute to nature’s purest measure of speed, grace, and memory.
In the falcon’s flight, time is not told—it is felt through wind, instinct, and stars. This piece doesn’t count the seconds. It listens to them.
It is a watch that does not belong on a wrist—
It belongs in the air.
